Voice Input
Speak instead of typing. Agent Nine transcribes your voice in real-time and puts the text into the input field.
How to Use
- Click the microphone icon (right side of input area)
- Speak naturally
- Click again to stop recording
- Transcribed text appears in the input field
- Edit if needed, then send
Supported Languages
| Language | Quality |
|---|---|
| English | Excellent |
| Russian | Excellent |
| Other languages | Auto-detected, good quality for major languages |
Language is detected automatically — you don't need to select it. You can even switch languages mid-sentence.
How It Works
- Audio is recorded in short chunks (4 seconds)
- Each chunk is sent to the server for transcription
- Text appears in real-time as you speak
- Uses Whisper for high-accuracy speech recognition
Where It Works
| Platform | Support |
|---|---|
| Desktop app | Full support |
| Web app | Full support (browser asks for microphone permission) |
| Mobile browsers | Supported on Chrome and Safari |
Requirements
- Microphone — your browser or desktop app will ask for permission on first use
- Internet connection — transcription happens server-side for best quality
Tips
- Speak clearly at a normal pace — no need to slow down
- Short pauses between sentences improve accuracy
- Background noise — works in most environments, but a quieter space gives better results
- Edit before sending — you can always correct the transcription before pressing Enter
- Long messages — keep speaking for as long as you need, transcription continues
- Combine with typing — start typing, then switch to voice (or vice versa)
